Frank Bangay, bard of Hackney, has been a regular contributor to life & living over the years and months.

Frank's been valiantly co-ordinating Life & Living's tribute to Kevin Coyne, who had a special place in the hearts and minds of many. As well as finding personal inspiration in the obvious quality of Kevin's best work, Frank is clearly drawn to the man as artist and mental health activist as well as singer/ songwriter. A very strong compilation of extraordinary material has emerged, and it will be ready for your ears before too long in this year 2006, just you watch!

With our customary coyness, we can only say that most of the contributions are now in, and there are some fantastic songs in the can, from some amazing contributors.

Here you can read the interview with Kevin Coyne (1944-2004) that Frank made in 2004.

Mister Bangay, accompanied by musicianal friends, has also been recording new work. His last collection of songs, accurately titled 'THIS TOPSY TURVY LIFE', may be had by contacting us here at . . . .. .Send us £5.00 and it can be yours!

DAIL magazine said:  "The music finds a place inside one's head and drills its drone-like sound round and round, like a swarm of frenzied bees buzzing frantically in a small locked room.

I dare anyone to listen to this compact disc without being affected by it in some way..."
