q. what is a dogcast?

a. It works in iTunes or other podcast client, and is a way of subscribing to an audio feed which will automatically check if there is a new programme and download it to your computer for you to listen to whenever you want. Once you are subscribed you can get and listen to all available programmes and you have the option to keep or discard the audio files at any time.

q. what do I do if clicking the dog didn't work for me?

a. If you have iTunes it's very simple
Open iTunes, and in the 'advanced' menu click on 'subscribe to podcast', then where it says 'url' paste in the following:-

q. what if I don't have iTunes?

a. iTunes is a free programme, you can download it here and there are many other programmes that will do the job; here's a list of them
